Serenity Sleep Center

sleep-studyOur knowledgeable staff, excellent customer service skills, and beautiful facilities offer the perfect environment to service your sleep disorder needs.

Our sustained efforts to care for our patients even after their in-house sleep disorder treatment has been a contributing factor in our overall company’s performance.

The sleep study is painless. A specially trained technologist will apply sensors to the head, face, chest, stomach and legs.  Specially designed equipment will monitor brainwaves, eye movements, breathing  blood oxygen levels, heart rate and muscle activity during sleep. The sleep technologist will be available to you at all times during your night of stay.
Our sleep lab provides furnished, private rooms for your comfort.

We offer a safe, comfortable sleeping environment for your sleep disorder study. Studies take place in a private sleep room at our sleep disorder center that is designed to look and feel like a comfortable bedroom. Our sleep specialists will make every effort to help you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Dr. Robert Pearson is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine. Treating patients with sleep apnea, both obstructive and central sleep apnea makes up a large part of the practice. We have excellent, well trained and professional technicians.

During Studies we place leads to monitor:

  • Brain Waves (EEG)
  • Eye movement (EOG)
  • Heart Rate (EKG)
  • Leg Movement (EMG)
  • Breathing (Respiratory)

Our office is located just west of Valley View Medical Center at 1251 Northfield Road, Suite 200. We are on the main floor; the Sleep Lab entrance is on the south side of the building.

The sleep technician will meet you at your scheduled time. The study will conclude approximately eight hours later. Standard wake up time is between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. and you will be able to drive yourself home in the morning.

We want your experience with us to be a beneficial one. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
